PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE. These terms govern your use of the ConnectShareCare website (the “Site”) operated by researchers at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic (collectively, “Dartmouth-Hitchcock”), whether you are registered, contributing content or just browsing.  Please read and check these terms regularly as they may change from time to time.

The content of this Site is protected by copyright under both United States and foreign laws.  Except as set out herein, title to the content remains with Dartmouth-Hitchcock or its licensors.  Any use of the content not expressly permitted by these Terms of Use is a breach of these Terms of Use and such license and may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.  If your use of the Site is terminated, your license to use the content will automatically cease, and you must immediately destroy all copies of any such content, including without limitation all copies of modifications of such content, which you have made.

No commercial use of this Site is permitted.  You may use this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Gathering email addresses or other content from this site through harvesting or automated means is prohibited. Posting or transmitting unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation to other users is prohibited.

If you are under the age of 18 you need your parents' permission before using the Site or registering. The Site is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. Indemnity:

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless each of Dartmouth-Hitchcock, its trustees, officers, employees, and agents, and each of the editors of the Site content, and each of Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s licensors and suppliers from and against any third party claims, actions or demands, liabilities, expenses or settlements, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from your violation of these Terms of Use and/or from content you supply, including without limitation any Communications.

General Terms:

These Terms of Use are governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without respect to its conflicts of laws provisions. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use, which shall remain in full force and effect. 

You expressly agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with Dartmouth-Hitchcock, or in any way relating to your use of this Site, resides in the courts of the State of New Hampshire.  Your further agree and expressly consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction in the courts of the State of New Hampshire in connection with any such dispute, including without limitation any claim involving Dartmouth-Hitchcock, its trustees, officers, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, or any editors of the Site content.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock reserves the right to release information to the proper authorities, as a result of a violation of our standards or unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed and/or if we deem it necessary and/or appropriate. Dartmouth-Hitchcock has the right, but not the obligation, to refuse service, terminate accounts, expel users and prevent further access to the Site, and/or to remove or edit content, in its sole discretion, including where a user is violating these Terms of Use or violating the law. Dartmouth-Hitchcock further shall have the right, but not the obligation, to remove Communications that are abusive, illegal, disrespectful, disruptive, or otherwise problematic.

The following provisions survive the expiration or termination of these Terms of Use for any reason whatsoever:  Liability and Disclaimers, Indemnity, and General Terms.

These Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and any posted guidelines, rules, and policies applicable to particular services on the Site that may be posted from time to time constitute the entire agreement between you and Dartmouth-Hitchcock with respect to your use of this Site and the content of the Site. All such guidelines, rules, and policies are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use.
